The ETI RayTemp 8 Infrared Thermometer is compact, gun-shaped, lightweight and easy to use. Simply aim, then pull the trigger to display the temperature of the item being measured. The LCD display gives a digital read-out of temperature over the range of -60 to 500°C.

The RayTemp® 8 infrared thermometer incorporates a miniature thermocouple type K probe socket (probe not supplied) that enables a wide range of type K thermocouple probes to be used for a variety of temperature measurement applications, including air, liquid and surface temperatures.

The measurement zone is proportional to the distance the RayTemp is away from the target. The RayTemp 8 is equipped with a 12:1 lens. If the target is 60 cm (24") away the measurement zone will be 5 cm (2") across.

The RayTemp 8 should only be used with thermocouple type K nickel-chromium/nickel-aluminium probes or sensors that meet BS EN 60584:1996 standard and are fitted with a suitable miniature thermocouple plug.
