LLT 0-11kV Log Scaled Cross Arm Leakage Kit

The Live Line Tester Cross Arm Leakage Kits have been specifically designed to perform leakage measurements on unearthed pole cross arms on systems up to 11kV, and can also check for dry banding on wooden poles. The kit includes all necessary components to effectively carry out these tests. All components are housed within a heavy duty soft carry bag with secure compartments. Made from high quality fibreglass rods and polycarbonate mouldings the equipment is suitable for outdoor use. The equipment has been designed to operate within the temperature range:$25 ̊C to +50 ̊C.

On an 11kV System the Phase to Earth Voltage will be 6.35kV. However where ASC (Arc Suppresion Coils) is employed and a fault exists a system voltage of just over 11kV can appear on the Crossarm. The Cross Arm Repeater Unit is designed with a Log Scale, with 11kV at the Scale End Point (FSD 912kV) and 1kV in the centre of the scale, with the minimum scale point of 100V to enable ease of measurement under 1kV.

The Cross Arm Leakage Kit provides for the use of a Bowthorpe Rod Adaptor fitted to the Leakage Probe to allow standard Bowthorpe Poles to be attached. This will extend the reach of the Probe to enable the Cross Arm to be reached from the ground Any leakage detected will be indicated on the Repeater Unit scale.
