GMI Gasurveyor 11-500 LEL VOL CO (CGI/CSM)

The Gasurveyor 11-500 is a two button instrument designed to measure Lower Explosive Level, Volume flammable gas and Oxygen. The instrument is designed to the latest standards and is certified for use in Hazardous Areas. The instrument contains electrochemical sensors with a life of 2 years.

The 11-500 compliments both the Gascoseeker, Gasurveyor 3-500 and the Oxygas instruments with a similar performance, measuring % LEL and % volume flammable hydrocarbons, but with the addition of oxygen. It is designed for either gas/air or gas/nitrogen/air purging, with the ability of the Gascoseeker and the addition to measure oxygen during a nitrogen purge.

The Gasurveyor 11-500 contains the following ranges: LEL, 0 to 100%, Volume gas, 0 to 100%, Oxygen, 0 to 25%. The LEL range indicates the explosibility of the flammable gas in the sample. This is displayed as a percentage of the lower explosive limit (LEL) of the gas. For methane 100% LEL corresponds to 5% Volume methane in Air. The two-button operation means that it is easy to use and operator training can be conducted quickly.
