Sofamel PATL-MPLB/7070 Earth Equipment

Earthing and short-circuit equipment for medium voltage overhead lines. The main aim for the PATL-MPLB/7070 installation is operator’s protection against an accidental commissioning or possible voltage return during repair operations.

The MPL clamp is fixed on bare conductors by screw-tightening. This equipment has got a MPUP clamp (carrier) which facilitates the lifting and placing of the three clamps at the same time reducing installation time considerably. Accordes to IEC 61230 standard.

The Sofamel PATL-MPLB/7070 is composed of:

• 2 x MPL aluminium alloy clamps with screw tighten for cylindrical conductors with diameter between 5 and 45mm, flat bars max. 45mm bending bus-bars max. 45mm, fixing points, between 20 - 25mm.
• 1 x MPLP aluminium alloy clamp (carrier) with screw tighten for cylindrical conductors with diameter between 5 and 45mm, flat bars max.45mm, bending bus-bars max. 45mm,
• and fixing points between 20 - 25mm.
• 2 x copper cables with PVC insulation of 70mm2 section and 2.5m long.
• 1 x copper cable with PVC insulation of 70mm2 section and 15m long.
• 1 x TT-50 milling earthing lathe.
• 1 x earthing rod.
• 1 x telescopic pole (1.10m folded and 2m extended) with anchorage button.
• 1 x plastic case to store and transport the equipment.
• 1 x bag to store and transport the pole and the earthing rod.
