Sofamel ELBT-CC Short Circuit Equipment

Short-circuit equipment for low voltage overhead lines. The main aim of the Sofamel ELBT-CC is operator protection against an accidental commissioning or possible voltage return during repair operations.

The ELBT-CC clamp is installed on the bare conductor by leaning it on this one and pressing downwards. The clamp mechanism guarantees a permanent and steady contact.

The Sofamel ELBT-CC is composed of:

• 4 x MPUE aluminium alloy clamps with screw tighten and insulated grip for cylindrical conductors with diameter between 4 and 30mm, flat bars max. 45mm, bending bus-bars max. 45mm and fixing points between Ø 20 and 25mm.
• 3 x copper cables with PVC insulation of 35mm2 section and 0,6m long.
• 1 x copper cable with PVC insulation of 25mm2 section and 2m long.
• 1 x TT-38A milling earthing lathe.
• 1 x plastic case to store and transport the equipment.
