CALIBRATION OFFICES IN THREE COUNTRIES
The Cuthbertson Laird Group provide a nationwide calibration and repair service, offering UKAS and National Traceable certification, both in the laboratory and 'on-site', which includes traceable results to national standards, detailed certification (including results) and full guarantees on all work.
Calibrations are undertaken in temperature controlled environments utilising state-of-the-art testing and calibration equipment. We are an authorised repair centre for most of the major instrument manufactureres including Megger Products, Megger Sweden (Programma), Fluke, Seaward, Druck and T&R.
As components age and equipment undergoes changes in temperature or sustains mechanical stress, critical performance gradually degrades. This is called drift. When this happens your test results become unreliable and both design and production quality suffer. Whilst drift cannot be eliminated, it can be detected and contained through the process of calibration.
As a group we can calibrate and certify electrical, temperature, flue gas analysers, pressure, HVAC, airflow, torque, dimensional instruments and thermal imaging cameras. Our Metrology division can calibrate, repair and recondition a wide range of vernier gauges, micrometers and surface tables.
In our Leeds Calibration Lab we use state-of-the-art calibrators from Fluke, Chauvin Arnoux and Transmille. We are able to calibrate a wide range of 18th edition testers, handheld and bench multimeters, oscilloscopes and scopeMeter test tools, wattmeters, analog volt/ohm/amp/watt instruments, electronic thermometers, data loggers, strip chart recorders, XY Recorders, power harmonics analysers, process calibrators and current clamps. We offer competive calibration prices and a quick turnaround.

In Hamilton, Scotland, our expertise in test instrument calibration has been developed and honed since we were established in February 1980. During that time we have calibrated literally millions of test meters, from small single-function electrical testers to complex, high voltage test systems. Due to our geographical location, we are the number one company for calibration in Scotland.

AUTHORISED REPAIR CENTRE
We hold 'Approved Repair Centre' status from many of the leading instrument manufacturers and all instruments are repaired to manufacturers' standards using approved parts.
Our Hamilton and Belfast offices are Approved Service Centres for Testo, in accordance with Testo Limited’s terms and conditions, to carry out servicing and calibration for the Testo range of Domestic Flue Gas Analysers (T310, T320, T325, T327 & T330). We are also a Megger Authorised Service Centre and a GE Druck Silver Channel Partner.
We can offer you the option of an 'electronic copy' of the calibration certificate, which is downloadable from our website direct to any PC, tablet or mobile phone. If requested, we'll set you up with a unique login and ID that will allow you to download and print any of your test equipment calibration certificates held on our server.
Many of our customers are requesting this service instead of having to take paper copies on site. One company, whose engineers do a lot of work abroad, said carrying 'hard copies' of test certificates when on site was becoming a problem. Hard copies of the certificates will still need to be kept in a safe place and produced for inspections etc.
