The Chauvin C.A 6250 has now been discontinued. The C.A 6255 is a direct replacement.
An easy to use high performance apparatus, the Chauvin C.A 6250 microhmmeter tests the quality of links with precision (resolution of 1µΩ) thanks to the use of low resistance measurements. The CA6250 has a broad measurement span, with 7 ranges that can be manually selected on the rotary switch.
Housed in a rugged construction-site type case with cover, the CA 6250 is a self-contained instrument powered by a rechargeable battery with built-in charger. It provides 7 measurement ranges, from 5 mW to 2,500 W, that can be accessed and selected directly on the front-panel rotary switch. The tester also has automatic detection of the presence of an external AC or DC voltage on the terminals, before or during the measurement, which disables or stops the measurements when measurement accuracy is no longer guaranteed.
The Chauvin Arnoux C.A 6250 has internal memory to store 1,500 measurements. Recording is done using two indices, OBJ (object) and TEST (test), so as to store the results in an ordered manner.
Broad measurement range: from 1 μΩ to 2,500 Ω.
4-wire measurement method.
Automatic compensation of spurious voltages.
3 different measurements: inductive, resistive and Auto Measurement.
Range: from 1 µΩ to 2,500 Ω.
“Temperature compensation” function for a comparative result.
1,500-measurement memory capacity.
Giant back-lit LCD display.
