One of the most efficient methods of measuring water level in wells, streams, rivers, canals and reservoirs is the submersible pressure sensor. It uses very little energy and provides an accurate long term measuring system solution. The PTX 1830 is a fully submersible, high performance sensor for measurement of hydrostatic liquid levels.
The Druck PTX1830, with its small diameter welded body in titanium and steel, coupled with injection moulded high quality cable and high stability silicon, offer the ultimate in stability and reliability resulting in low cost ownership.
A tough, flouropolymer cable is attached to the transducer body, providing a high integrity, waterproof assembly. The cable is strengthened with Kevlar so that there is no measurable elongation when the cable is lowered into deep wells.
The GE Druck Submersible Pressure Transmitters are constructed of all-welded titanium and are backed by a 5-year corrosion warranty. An advanced micromachined silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor provides excellent performance and resistance to shock and vibration. Depending on your needs, the Druck PTX 1830 & PTX 1835 sensors have multiple lengths of cable ranging from 3 feet (included) up to 2,000 feet.
