Sofamel ELBT-PAT/CC Earthing Equipment

Earthing and short-circuit equipment for low voltage overhead lines. The main aim of the Sofamel ELBT-PAT/CC installation is operator’s protection against an accidental commissioning or possible voltage return during repair operations.

The ELBT clamp is installed on the bare conductor by leaning it on this one and pressing downwards. The clamp mechanism guarantees a permanent and steady contact.

The Sofamel ELBT-PAT/CC is composed of:

• 4 x ELBT spring clamps with 70cm poles for cylindrical conductors with diameter between 3 and 18mm.
• 3 x copper cables with PVC insulation of 16mm2 section and 0,6m long.
• 1 x copper cable with PVC insulation of 16mm2 section and 15m long.
• 1 x TT-38A milling earthing lathe.
• 1 x earthing rod.
• 2 x nylon bags to store and transport the equipment.
