Three grades of performance: Industrial (+/-0.2% FS BSL), Improved (+/- 0.1% FS BSL) and Premium (+/- 0.04% FS BSL).
UNIK 5000 configured sensors can be built for most environments with operating temperature ranges from -55 °C to +125 °C.
IP (Nema 4) ratings - including up to permanent full submersion in both water and hydrocarbons, and high-grade stainless steel construction with a new option of titanium for specialist applications.

With broad pressure range operation from 70 mbar (1psi) to 700 bar (10,000 psi) UNIK 5000 is referenced to gauge, and absolute with both wet/dry and wet/wet differential options.

UNIK 5600/5700 Marine Certified Pressure Sensing Platform
The UNIK 5600 is designed for use on all a ship’s power and process plant, and particularly for turbine engine monitoring of exhaust, lubricating oil and fuel pressure. It features a DIN-approved electrical connector to,ensure that contact with oil will not damage sealing and is IP65 rated to provide protection against the ingress of dust and splash water.
The UNIK 5700 has been designed for on-board tank-level measurement and control, for ballast, fresh water, sea gauge and fuel tanks. It is manufactured in high grade stainless steel for rust inhibition and is rated IP68 for protection against dust and water ingress down to 700m.
The new UNIK 5600/5700 carries marine certification for most zones on-board ship, as well as Intrinsically Safe certifications. Marine approval means UNIK 5000 complies with International standards, regulations and Marine Law.

UNIK 5800/5900 Flameproof/Explosion-Proof Pressure Sensing Platform
Compact and rugged, offering flameproof/explosion-proof and dust-proof ignition protection by enclosure protection in hazardous areas. A cost effective alternative to pressure 
gauges and switches in process and oil and gas industry applications such as: hydraulic power units, flushing skids, seperators and wellhead production management and automation.

Since the Groby fire in June 2014, GE Druck continue to offer uninterrupted supply of UNIK5000, 5600, 5700, 5800, 5900 for the majority of configurations. However, the silicon availability continues to be dynamic and they have gaps in certain pressure ranges and options.
